Fabric is a sheer, soft cotton or cotton blend. Bodice is lined with the same material. Sleeves are unlined giving contrast to the dress.

There is some discoloration to the cuffs (mostly at buttons) and to the ruffle edges at the neckline. I found two tiny spots on the back shoulders which may come out with a little care, but I have not cleaned the dress.
